I like the tune as a whole. Good guitar player - I'm not crazy about the tone - but ok. Some of the lead licks seems rushed, like you're trying to squeeze it all in. Vocals are strong - diction is good - I do hear pitch wander a little here and there, but OK. Timbre is good - very distinctive.
I really think you need to record this and take you time with it. Mix isn't quite there yet, drums & bass need to be hotter in the mix. Good Tune & Good Luck

Interesting song. The chord structure is unique and I like the way it feels. Peace, Ron

Nice tune with an outstanding guitar very explosive....it's more rock than blues...so rock it!

I almost liked this tune. The guitar solo, however, is muddled--to many notes. The vocalist has a tendency to over-sing with his "sytlistic embellishments." He like to fall off at the end of his phrases.

like that guiro. rhythm guitar part is great, but the tone isn't the best. drums are burried in the mix. the guitar solo would have been better with fewer notes and a little off the beat playing.

I liked the guitar on this. Pretty nifty. My second favourite. Branded being my first.

This is rock, not blues.

Well I think it's bluesy and I've been playing blues for 41 years.. Yeah it's got a rocky feel, but why not..
Interesting title.. but I have to agree with it.. Great lyrics and vocals. Guitar solo has a rich warm sound to it and cool techniques.
Interesting what people are saying about 'blues or not blues'.. Feel a forum coming on..

imo, this is blues ... that guitar solo in the middle is too busy for my taste ... i would like fewer notes and more clarity. the drumming seems really busy too ... all the snare hits ... i dig the intro, it has a real growl to it, and its almost like the song gets less aggressive as it goes on ...

New solo, slightly new mix as of June 2006. Where to listen you ask?

I have to agree with all Alexsy's comments.
